ON YOUR MEDAL DAY:

Teachers may choose if they wish to be present in the room with the children. You may conduct the medal display as:

      • a formal examination where the children enter the room alone and complete set pattern of exercises and sets
        or
      • an open style class where the teacher tells the children what they will do but does not correct any mistakes or technical errors.

Most studios are now choosing a combination of the above styles.
