CBAA has been established to make dance accessible for all children. The direction of the Academy is to provide activities that all children can participate in, without regard of their physical ability or financial position.

CBAA will operate as a non-profit organisation with the welfare and enjoyment of participating children as the main objective.

Decisions for each year’s activities will be determined by the member teachers at a teacher’s meeting held annually.

The activities offered will usually be in the form of medal days, competitions, concerts, displays and general outings where dance is involved.

The costs of the activities will be determined by the participating studios. The success of the activity will not be determined by making a profit. Any profit that is made from an activity will be used to determine the costs of the next activity.

Studios that support CBAA will also support the principle of providing dance for all children.

Children with disabilities are welcomed to participate.

Concessions are made for families that have financial restraints.

Academy funds will be used to support the participating studios.
